Article Reflection

We needed to write an outline to get a good understanding on where we were gonna go with it. The one hard part for me was finding evidence for all my statements or statements that would be properly addressed for there to be evidence. For my article I decided to write about the student parking issue at animas high school, my argument was the fact that we have close to 12 open parking spots that could be used by students but instead of moving forward with our school we have decided to ignore the issue and leave junk and thing we don't use are occupying them.
I think that this project made me realize that instead of being influenced by all the things that you can read on the internet to be more skeptical about who wrote it, where they got it from and what their reasons are to be writing them because a lot of companies and journalist in particular are known to be biased and if came to that understanding that the person or that company has a bias towards an opinion I would rather not read it and go to a different page that I know or think are not biased.
I think I grew as a journalist because in the beginning of this project I had to gather statements that would support my argument and ended up having to change my statements 3 times because they didn't address it well enough to where I was able to find good solid evidence and proof for my article. Other than that I learned that there are a lot of sites and people that have very different opinions on what I believe in and support that I really need to make sure that the person's article or whatever they wrote doesn't have a bias
