Belief essay
Beliefs or Norms
Lucius Anthony
Throughout your entire life you hold the responsibility of knowing when to be serious, when to be funny and when to be friendly.
On March 21, 2001 was the day that I was born and also the day that my parents realized that they just had one more little person to be responsible for. At the age of 27 is when both of my parents had three kids and the days of having crazy fun and being stupidly irresponsible were over.
All kids want to do is have fun and not have to worry about anything to come or what has happened, just focusing on the moment. The question that I have always asked myself is, will I turn out the same way as my parents did when they had to start parenting. Because my gut feeling is that I won’t change my attitude or mentality but rather my responsibility and take charge of more things that are happening.
I've always hoped that if I ever have kids, which is something that I would like to do when I have the right time and the right circumstances, I hope that I don’t turn into a grumpy old guy that isn't up for any fun and am trying to be very protective over every slight movement, that's what I don’t understand about parents. well at least most parents. I know for a fact that my parents did the same type of stuff that I do or even worse so I don't understand how you could just completely change and be the opposite of yourself.
Time goes by too quick to not be friendly. too many people get caught up in stupid drama and worrying about unnecessary things. thinking too much about their future and the certain ways they need to act to be accepted in our modern day world.
Every day I have to take charge of my actions and the one thing that I feel that needs a lot of working on still is the responsibility of trying to take away and be on top of my schoolwork and pressure myself into not getting distracted by letting my friendliness become more of a priority than my responsibilities. This is the beginning of many hard obstacles in life.
Many could say that life is just one big long lesson. sometimes life will beat you up or chew you up and poop you out but that is the beauty of life, you learn so many things and are so capable of making things happen many people just don’t stop and take the time to think about it. Instead we use our intelligence to water everything down and make life easier but we somehow have become more reliant on other things than our own resources.
I believe that you have to be responsible in life and take charge of your actions and the only way you can enjoy it is if you be fun and friendly, but most importantly, a responsible person.

Belief Reflection
For this project ( This I belief project ) we were asked to write about our core belief and why we believe in it. The rationale in this project was for us to understand how our beliefs will influence us throughout the rest of our lives. To get started with this project I honestly thought that it was really cheesy but found it very easy to relate to my beliefs. Once I had figured out what i was gonna write about I wanted to write about responsibility because I think it's one of the most important thing there is.
I think that the hardest thing for me in this project was how we needed to relate life experiences and still make it sound smooth. I think that I grew because now I know more about my belief and am happy to be thinking and processing these thoughts. If I were to too anything different, I would make a better hook.
My favorite part about this project is that it is pretty much forcing us to realize what we believe in and how to back it up or see if that is what you should believe in. I’m proudest of my conclusion because I feel that it is my strongest piece that conveys the best message. “I believe that you have to be responsible in life and take charge of your actions and the only way you can enjoy it is if you be fun and friendly, but most importantly, a responsible person”.
I think that beliefs form our personality and the way that we live and our surroundings. Throughout this project I learned that whatever you do if your belief is true than you will notice it in your behavior.
