college essay boot camp
condensing essay:
my main problem that I have with writing essays is being able to condense them. I can go on and on about the smallest subject to the point that my essay is just mumbling on about non important things. for example in my college essay I have a limit of 650 words and right now I am at 657 words and just got to the main point of my essay where my story starts. something that really helps me with condensing my essay is writing it out as much as I can and then taking all of the main points from and try to fit them all into one.
grammer:
another thing that I have always had problems with writing is spelling, its one of the things that I know the only way I can get better at it is constantly working and trying my hardest to to get better at it. its just like reading for me, I used to be the worst reader but then got better because my parents made me read every night out loud. this is what I need to do with writing to become better.
punctuation:
just like spelling I have the same problems with punctuation just because I have never tried or focused on making it better. "Once I had picked up all my luggage I asked these locals if they could direct me in the way of the hostile where I was staying" here is an example of of some of my writing and right now I couldn't tell you with confidence that it is all right
